Why is that financial advisors tell us that emotions and investing don't mix?
Why can't a financial, insurance, and tax seminar be both informative and fun?
Why the financial industry has been dominated by men?
In this session you'll learn the psychology of money and how to manage your relationship with it. You'll also learn new ways of thinking about money in engaging and practical analogies. This talk is specifically designed for women and for men who embrace a healthy relationship with money.
About the speaker: Pepper (alter ego Bradley Roulston) was Canada's youngest Certified Financial Planner when obtaining his license. He was also among the first recipients of the esteemed Fellow to the FPSC for helping young people and women understand finance. He is an author and his former company Healthcare Financial Group was a leader in financial & insurance planning for women.
Why Drag? He did drag a few months ago and found it fun. We think you will too.
Thu May 24. Your Squamish Dollar: Creating a Currency for Squamish - $15
What would it mean if we created a coin for Squamish? What economic and social good could it do? Can local communities create it's own currency using blockchain?
Join guest speaker Bradley Roulston who will talk about his experience creating the Nelson Dollar. Together with Marc Soer they will discuss local economies, community politics and what's needed to create a coin for Squamish using blockchain technology.
You'll also have the opportunity to use blockchain by utilising the technology yourself, and vote on an important question on the evening.

Join a distinguished panel of speakers for our key note event.
