Stand Up Comedy Class - Level 1 Winter 2023

If performing Stand Up Comedy is on your bucket list, this is where to get started ~ learn from the best! This course just won the PLATINUM AWARD for Performing Arts classes in Victoria's 2022 Community Votes Awards. Taught for the past ten years by acclaimed comedienne Kirsten Van Ritzen, this 7 week session is geared to absolute beginners. Learn the ropes of writing and performing original material in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Past participants are also welcome and will be given new challenges.

Everyone will have the opportunity to perform in a comedy show Saturday, Feb.25 at the Sports View Bar & Grill. Save the date!

With ten years' teaching experience, Kirsten has inspired hundreds of regular folks to share their passion for comedy. Adult language/mature content. Participants must be 19+

TWO STEPS TO REGISTER:

1) Pay the fee $225 on Eventbrite (service fee applies), etransfer, cheque or cash by arrangement. Note that Refunds are available 7 days prior to first class. No refunds after session begins.

2) Complete the Google Doc Registration form . Link is in the confirmation message from Eventbrite; or can be emailed to you. BOTH payment and form must be complete to secure your spot.

Classes take place in-person but may revert to ZOOM online learning if PHO protocols change; participants will be informed in advance of any Covid safety measures required by the venues.
