Heard of AWS? It stands for Amazon Web Services (AWS), which makes it extremely easy to set up IT infrastructure for your software development environment. If you've never seen AWS in action, we'll go through an overview of the platform; if you're familiar with AWS, new and advanced tools will be introduced to keep your mind off the nitty-gritty "IT stuff" and onto your big ideas.

With a credit card and a few minutes in the AWS Console, it's possible to configure all your computer server, database, and storage needs. In this talk, Peter Smith, a Principal Software Enginner with a wide range of development experience, will be giving an overview of AWS, new tools, and issues that will arise when a product is successful.

Topics include deployment, scalability, monitoring, security, and cost management– factors that play important roles in scaling your product and growing your company.
