Startup Trivia Night #2
Event Information
Event description
Description
Think you know startups? You may work in the Toronto startup scene, watch Silicon Valley, and read TechCrunch and BetaKit religiously, but do you really know startups? Find out at the second annual Startup Trivia Night in Toronto. Hosted by the teams at Eighty-Eight and Insurance Portfolio Financial Services Inc., Startup Trivia will test your knowledge of Toronto startups, startups in Hollywood, and startup culture. So brush up on your Erlich Bachman quotes, re-read Elon Musk's manifestos, and get ready to vie for the title of Startup Trivia champion.
Gather a team of four coworkers or friends, or register as an individual and get paired up with other entrepreneurs, startup fanatics, and investors. The winning team will get a trophy, the title of Toronto's smartest startup folks, and a prize pack featuring some of our favourite players in Toronto's startup scene.
Your $20 ticket gets you food, unlimited drinks (until we run out), surprise snacks, and a chance at an awesome prize if your team wins. All proceeds go to the YWCA Toronto’s Girls’ Centre, the official charity partner of HoHoTO, including $10 from the sale of each ticket. Special thanks to our venue host Uberflip for providing space for the event.
Schedule:
6-7: Arrive, eat and mingle
7-8:30: Trivia: 3 rounds of questions
8:30-10: Hang out and meet people

Insurance Portfolio is the go-to provider of startup benefit programs in Toronto. Founder Chris Gory is six degrees of separation away from every startup in the city, and he's helped companies including Wattpad, 500px, and VarageSale choose benefits and wellness programs that make sense for their employees.
