Event description
Have fun learning chemistry in the kitchen - while baking TWO loaves of bread! For grades 3-7.

About this event

Using two different leavening agents, kids will explore the role of each of the ingredients and how the ingredients react to each other in making bread.

Registration is $10. Materials kit will be available through curbside pickup at the Resource Library of your choice (Bathurst Clark, Civic Centre, or Pierre Berton). Registrants will be contacted to pick up their materials kit after they have registered.

This program will be hosted on Zoom. Priority will be given to confirmed VPL members. Parental involvement is strongly encouraged due to use of an oven.
