STEAM Workshops: Make Your Own Microscope!
Event Information
In this program, we'll learn all about microscopes and the many things they can allow you to see. For grades 4-8.
About this event
Come find out what scientists use microscopes for and then make your very own pocket-sized microscope called a Foldscope. These microscopes may be small, but it's amazing what you can see with something made mostly from paper and one tiny lens! For grades 4-8.
Registration is $10 per participant and includes a materials kit, which you can pick up at the library of your choice. For new registrations , starting February 2nd, Bathurst Clark Resource Library will be the option for location for kit pick up. Registrants will be contacted once the kits are ready for pickup. The program will be hosted live on Zoom.
