Create fun figurines with homemade playdough, and then learn the basics of stop motion animation to create movies with your figures!

Some French vocabulary and different STEAM concepts in both English and French will be introduced. Everyone is welcome to attend – no prior knowledge of French is necessary.

For ages 8 -12. Registration is $10 per child. Materials kit will be available through pickup at the Resource Library of your choice (Bathurst Clark, Civic Centre, or Pierre Berton). Attendees will keep the projects that they make! Registrants will be contacted to pick up their materials kit after they have registered. 

Parents should attend with their children. This virtual workshop will be done through Zoom. Zoom meeting details will be emailed to you prior to the workshop. 

Crée de la pâte à modeler chez toi, ensuite apprends comment faire un film d’animation image par image. En plus, apprends un peu de vocabulaire et quelques concepts de STEAM en français avec cet atelier bilingue. Pour les enfants âgés de 8 à 12 ans. L’inscription est 10 $ pour chaque enfant. Tous les matériaux requis pour ce programme seront disponibles à ramasser à une de nos bibliothèques de ressources (Bathurst Clark, Civic Centre ou Pierre Berton).  

Les parents devront rester avec leurs enfants pendant le programme. Cet atelier virtuel va se faire sur Zoom. La bibliothèque va vous envoyer les détails de réunion de Zoom par courriel avant l’atelier.
