Steinway Performance Class Series No. 4

Join us for a very special four-part series: a performance class adjudicated by some of Ottawa's most respected and renowned artists and professors.

Event dates:

November 27- (November 12 submission deadline)

January 29- (January 14 submission deadline)

March 26- (March 11 submission deadline)

May 28 -(May 13 submission deadline)

June 18- Gala Concert with prizes & scholarships awarded as well as performance by a special guest.

Location:

In-person at Steinway Piano Gallery Ottawa 1481 Innes Road (performers and a limited number of auditors) Maximum 20 people.

Format:

Audition is by video application which must be uploaded to YouTube with a link sent no later than 2 weeks prior to event date.

Maximum performance time is 12 minutes. Please make a special request if you require an extension.

• Performance invitations will be sent out to winning students one week prior to performance with invitations to perform in person.
• Please note: unfortunately we cannot accommodate all applicants.
• UP TO 8 STUDENTS PER EVENT WILL BE INVITED BY THE PROFESSOR TO PERFORM AT THE LIVE CONCERT AND RECEIVE LIVE ADJUDICATION.

Concert begins at 7 pm. Students will perform back to back and will be given comments by the adjudicator at the end of the concert.

Safety:

Masks must be worn at all times except by performers during performance.
