Become a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Champion with UOIT technology workshops!

Robotics isn’t just for advanced engineers! Ozobots are little circular robots that can be programed to move around, follow line colours, and even interact with each other. This workshop will focus on teaching participants about block coding. Unlike traditional, text-based programming, block coding involves a simple method of dragging “blocks” of instructions.

Other programs in the STEM Champion series are:

  • Creating Circuits with Makey Makey (Saturday, October 21)
  • Build and Program your Own Crystal Ball (Saturday, November 4)

Presented in partnership with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.

No charge. Advanced registration is required; space is limited Register online, in person, or by phone.
