STEM/Robotics/Coding For Kids (Ages 6-13) Full Course (Oct 5-Dec 14,2019)
Event Information
About this Event
In the first two classes, students will do hands-on activities to understand the concept behind circuits and electricity.
For the next three classes, students will work with motors and understand its operations. They will use motors to make different variety of robots.
Following that students will learn about breadboard and will work on DIY projects using breadboards.
The students will also learn about coding including binary numbers, variables, conditional statements, loops and will do unplugged computational activities.
In the last class, the students will work on additional DIY projects using materials provided to them.
* Please note that all the materials will be provided to students and they will showcase their projects to their parents and peer groups at the end of the class.
This STEM program will run, every Saturday, from October to December with a new hands-on project every week. Classes will be held at Fleetwood Library Meeting Room, Surrey from 1 PM - 2:30 PM**. Students can register for multiple classes, or take the full course (11 sessions) at a discounted rate.
