As apart of our Step Forward Campaign, the Calgary MFRC invites you to join us as we read the book Daring Greatly by Brené Brown. The 1-hour book discussion will be held virtually, via Zoom. The Calgary MFRC is happy to reimburse eligible participants for their book purchase; ebook, paperback, or audiobook. To be eligible for reimbursement, you must attend the book club meeting, provide your receipt and meet the below criteria.
Eligible for reimbursement; CAF members, DND & MFRC employees, member’s spouse/partner, member’s adult child or parents, Veterans, & Memorial Cross families. Eligible participants must be from Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer and surrounding areas. Civilian friends and MFRC volunteers are welcome to register and attend the bookclub meeting but are not eligible for the reimbursement.

About the Author
Brené Brown, PhD, LMSW, is a research professor at the University of Houston, where she holds the Huffington Foundation–Brené Brown Endowed Chair at the Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy and is the author of four #1 New York Times bestsellers: Braving the Wilderness, Rising Strong, Daring Greatly, and The Gifts of Imperfection.
