Description

In just two hours you will be well fed, well informed and will have suported Women's Habitat, one of Etobicoke's two shelters for women and children. Your $30.00 ticket gets you a full breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, breakfast meats (served separately), homefires, toast, French toast, muffins, juice, tea and coffee. You will also hear feminist Patricia O'Connell, Director of Sistering, speak about the challenges facing Toronto's most marginalized women and the successful efforts being made to support them.

This is our 5th Stop the Violence Breakfast. Each year has been a huge success, raising funds for our shelters and bringing women together to learn more about our issues and to celebrate the power of women working together.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is lots of parking at Six Points Plaza. If taking transit, it is an 8 minute walk from Kipling Subway Station on the Bloor Subway Line. Buses 1 and 26 from Mississauga stop at Wilmar Ave, a 1 minute walk to Six Points Plaza

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, we are on one floor and there is a ramp to the front door. There is also a washroom on the ground floor. Please let us know if you are in a wheelchair so we can save you a seat that is easy to get to.
