About this Event

Who doesn’t like a great story?

Storytellers have graced our communities, homes and nations across all periods of history and cultures. They tell many different types of myths, legends, folktales, and fairytales to new tales. Our storyteller’s event will be taking place on the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississauga’s of the Credit River where UTSC resides. This territory was the subject of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We respectfully acknowledge that they are the original caretakers of this land and have been telling stories since time immemorial
