Event description

Description

Three virtuoso artists share the stage for a night of storytelling and music. A young Iranian man migrates to Amsterdam and finds stories are his way of finding his place, a French woman takes her love of tales to Anatolia and plants and harvests seeds of stories, a Canadian folksinger delves into the rich world of Turkish folksong and ends up traveling around the world with her music. Sahand Sahebdivani brings stories from his Dutch/Iranian ancestry. Judith Liberman comes from Turkey with traditional folktales. Brenna MacCrimmon is Toronto's own Juno-nominated singer of songs from Turkey and the Balkans.
