What does it mean to think with the image of educators as storytellers? What stories do you make visible in your work? Educators often tell stories about children in documentation, but how can they consistently hold space for their stories to be told as well? Join Shelley, Candice and Emma for a conversation as we explore the concept of storytelling in ECE and how we can nurture opportunities for multiple stories to live in our work. During this gathering, educators will be offered space and time to think about the experiences that have come to tell the story of their existences as educators as well as their personal orientations and how they are reflected in their own story and how they impact the lives of children, families and colleagues. Prior to this event, educators are invited to gather one artifact that reflects their story. What is your story and how will you choose to tell it to others?
