Event description
Storytelling and Songwriting WORKSHOP in Muskoka

About this Event

Join fellow writers, storytellers and songwriters for an interactive and inspirational workshop with Master Storyteller, Brad Woods and Singer/Songwriter, Kevin Morse.

Brad Woods has told stories at festivals, theatres, conferences, prisons, churches and pubs all over North America and the UK. He tells traditional tales, literary classics and personal stories. Brad has shared his stories with all ages and in every type of venue imaginable. In 2016, he received the Alice Kane Award for Storytelling.

After years of playing and singing in various groups, Kevin Morse has always found his way back to his roots in the form of a simple solo performance on Acoustic Guitar. Since 1998, he has performed at festivals, conferences, theatres, cafes, prisons, churches and pubs as singer/songwriter in The Great Wooden Trio. Kev writes from experience, sings from the heart, and plays guitar as though it was designed just for him.

On November 30, attendees will participate in two mini-workshops, one on storytelling, the other on song writing followed by a mini-concert to wrap it all up.
