Storytelling Through Photos
Sat, 18 June 2016, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM EDT
They say a picture is worth 1000 words. But, if the picture tells a story, its worth is far greater. Join us to learn how to take your pictures from static and boring to dynamic and interesting through simple techniques and strategies. You will also see some examples of photos that have great stories and learn why storytelling is important. This workshop builds from our Composing Better Photos workshop and leads into the Through the Core walk.
Come on a walk to help jumpstart your photographic story. This walk will allow you to practice some techniques learned from both the Composing Better Photos and Storytelling Through Photos workshops so that you begin to create a more solid body of photographic work. This walk starts at Henry’s and then up to Yonge Dundas Square, across to Chinatown, down to Queen and then back across Queen through Nathan Philips Square, ending at Queen and Yonge.
