About this event

2 Part Master Class

Fee: $25 includes both sessions

Part 1: Strategic Planning Today - Through and Post Pandemic

September 16th from 9:30-11:15am

Strategic choices have a powerful impact on whether or not your agency will thrive through the pandemic and beyond. There’s a lot to consider — especially when many standard approaches to planning must be adapted to these challenging times!

In this first session, learn to navigate the core components of strategy development and how to apply up-to-date planning principles. Best practices will be peppered with practical tips, examples and tools to help you develop your own plans.

Part 2: Building Your Own Strategic Plan

September 17th from 9:30-11:15am

A framework is not enough: If you aren’t making choices, picking priorities and setting boundaries, your strategies may not provide effective guidance and focus for your agency’s future efforts. To discover and build consensus-driven strategies, you need a good process.

Part 2 of this workshop builds on some advance prep work and walks you through a candy shop of tools and facilitation ideas to help you apply concepts to meet your own needs.

Facilitator: Rob Wood, President & CEO of 8020Info, is actively involved as a consultant on a variety of strategic planning, research, public consultation, marketing communications and change management projects. He is also busy as a facilitator – in a typical year he would lead more than 100 focus group or planning sessions, public meetings and workshops.
