EVENT POSTPONED: New date Tuesday November 29th from 4-7 p.m.
Strathcona County in partnership with BGC Strathcona County invite young people (aged 15-25 years) to the youth employment job fair. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are seeking opportunities to enter the workforce. At this event, you will meet potential employers, visit employment support agencies, learn about job openings, submit resumes and connect with youth-friendly businesses.
Participants are encouraged to bring copies of their resume as there will be opportunities for sharing it with potential employers.
In addition to having organizations to support young workers and businesses with potential opportunities, there will be presentations on the main stage:
4:15 - 5:00 p.m. The Job Search
5:00 - 5:30 p.m. What to wear
5:30 - 6:15 p.m. Interview Skills
6:15 - 7:00 p.m. Resume Writing
(If you were unable to attend the workshop series that were offered on Tuesday/Thursdays, nor the job fair presentations, they will be recorded and available for viewing mid to late December).
