Description

Strength in Numbers: Community Meeting to Share Migrant Justice Strategies

The Rights of Non-Status Women’s Network is hosting a community meeting for service providers, educators and advocates on Wednesday September 25th from 1-4pm at the 519 community centre.

At this meeting attendees will learn about the network and receive practical training on 1) anti-racism/anti-colonial strategies for migrant justice in Canada and (2) media training on how to advocate for migrant justice as we prepare for the upcoming federal election. We will close the meeting by sharing strategies to help inform the network's activities in the upcoming year.

All service providers, educators, advocates and community members are welcome to attend. We respectfully request no media or government representatives attend this meeting.

Please RSVP as soon as possible spaces are limited ~ Thank You! ~

Space is fully wheelchair accessible. Please let us know of any accessibility needs in advance so that we can do our best to accommodate them.
