Description

Team resilience is about more than bouncing back from difficult times and building personal resilience does not always result in a resilient team.

This webinar is grounded in an understanding that a resilient team has the collective capability to manage the everyday stress of work and remain healthy, to adapt to and learn from unexpected setbacks, and to prepare for future challenges proactively.

Explore seven components of team resilience as you reflect on your own team experience and the transitions underway for all of us in work right now. Through examples and evidence-based content from the Working With Resilience international consortium of researchers, this webinar offers you a roadmap for leveraging what is working well in your team and identifying areas to invest in. The model incorporates aspects traditionally known as essential for teamwork and also includes elements that are emerging as important team behaviours within challenging work environments.

Resilience is a dynamic state impacted by multiple factors. This webinar offers you the time to reflect on your own team and prepare for work together that enables you, your clients and your organization to adapt and thrive.

Facilitator

Deena Boeck, MSc, is a Resilience at Work Trainer and Coach. Deena brings a 20-year history of working with and leading teams and is committed to supporting the unique ways in which individuals and workplaces thrive.

Building on her experience leading Life and Career Programs at UBC Continuing Studies and facilitating workplace learning across sectors, Deena incorporates the realities of the changing workplace with a strengths-based approach to team development and evidence-based frameworks for wellness at work.

What technical equipment do I need?

The learning will be delivered in a webinar format. A Zoom invitation link will be sent by email prior to the session.

The Zoom application can be downloaded to a computer desktop or accessed via web browsers. If it is necessary to use a mobile device (phone), you can download the app for your phone. For more information on Zoom requirements, please see the Zoom Help Center on the official site.

What's the refund policy?

If you would like to withdraw from a course, please email a written notice to info@changetalk.ca at least 7 business days before the course begins to be eligible for a full refund. No refund will be made for cancellations received later than 7 business days before the course begins. Exceptions will be considered in extreme circumstances, such as illness.

In the event of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, Change Talk Associates may be forced to cancel a course. If this occurs, a full refund is processed and sent to you automatically.
