It’s not easy to make career related decisions. But, with the wealth of knowledge that can be found within your networks, it can help you navigate through what may feel like tough decisions. Successful networking is possible, but it takes practice. Join José Cabral for a workshop to learn tips and gain insights on how to engage people who can give you clarity regarding your next steps. You will have the opportunity to practice your handshake, elevator pitch along with entrance and exit strategies as well as identifying key people in your life who may become a mentor and help with future career decisions.

About José Cabral: José supports students in the Human Resources Management/Organizational Behaviour, Global Management Studies, Health Services/ Information Management programs. His experience prior to Ryerson University includes roles in Consulting and Project Management with IBM, Xerox and EMC, as well as Employment Counselling with ACCES Employment and Dixon Hall Employment Services Centre. His passion is to assist students realize their potential while connecting them to fulfilling career opportunities. José has a bachelor of Computer Science and a diploma in Career and Work Counselling.


This workshop runs for 45 minutes with two time choices: 10:00 am or 11:00 am. You can select the time you prefer when you register for this workshop.
