A two and half hour event, after work. An opportunity to network, learn and share best practices.
Our keynote speaker, Dr. Nick Bellissimo is Associate Professor at the School of Nutrition at Ryerson University and is highly respected in the field of Nutrition.Early in his career, he was involved in breakfast programs. He will speak to us on "The Effects of Breakfast Composition on Cognition and Memory in Children" for approximately 30 minutes followed by Q and A.
This keynote will be followed by break out sessions with long serving Program Co-ordinator, Anne Campbell from Forest Hill. She will share her challenges and wins and provide time for lots of Q and A.
These few hours are all about sharing , networking, connecting and coming up with ways and means of helping each other to help the kids.
We will wrap up the evening by coming together at 6:15 to "speed tables" where topics, you choose ,can be discussed with those who have similar interests.... and you can pop from table to table.We will close at 7 for those who want to head out to watch the USA election results as they come in.
