About this event

We are excited to bring together the graduates of Cohorts 1, 2, & 3 of the CFN-VIU Stewardship Technicians Training Program for a professional development course this winter.

The course will be held at the longhouse in Prince Rupert from December 2nd to 5th, 2019.

The week will focus on the connections between reconciliation, climate change, and the work of environmental stewardship.

We'll dive into what reconciliation means culturally, politically, and the contemporary reconciliation agreements that govern Guardian work.

In a world so marked by climate change, we will explore the innovations and leadership of First Nations in stewarding communities to live more sustainably.

Together we will learn important leadership skills, share and develop our personal strengths, and reflect on the STTP program.

We look forward to bringing you all together to have fun as one big STTP family!
