Join Lurana Kruchten, in a workshop that uses the Design Thinking process to come up with solutions to improve the lives of High School students. Participants will work in small groups to come up with the issues faced by their classmates. Next,the groups will Empathize, Define, Ideate, and create a Prototype to test and solve the issue. Lastly, each group will create a Pitch to “sell" plan to the large group.

About Lurana Kruchten: Lurana Kruchten’s career has been involved with youth in a variety of programs, including youth employment, literacy and upgrading, and for the past 14 years in the post-secondary sector creating programs to support student success. She is currently a co-professor of the BUS 100 Strategies for Success course at Ryerson University.

This workshop runs for 45 minutes with two time choices: 9:00 am or 10:00 am. You can select the time you prefer when you register for this workshop.
