Learn from some of the sharpest minds in video production and documentary filmmaking from Vancouver at the Student Video Awards’ one-day workshop.
This is an opportunity to discover the latest techniques in a range of topics from the art of visual storytelling and cultivating creative ideas to how to make your video go viral as well as tips and tricks from top animators.
The workshop is part of the third annual Vancouver Sun Student Video Awards, which offers more than $20,000 in prizing to one of Vancouver Film School's Summer Intensives. Since the inception of the SVA in 2011, more than 1,500 students have participated in submitting films which have reached more than 80,000 people. - Location: Vancouver Film School campus at 151 West Cordova Street in Gastown
- Cost: Early-bird pricing is $45 plus service charge available until Oct. 15 ($50 after that date) and includes lunch and a workshop T-shirt.
