TEAL Manitoba presents an exciting Mini PD opportunity on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 5 - 8 pm:

Join us for an evening of discussion and learning around students experiencing grief, loss, and/or trauma.

This interactive session will begin an exploration of how a newcomer student presents stress, grief, and/or trauma.
How can teachers promote student well being and build resiliency in the classroom? What strategies support the teacher in the classroom when dealing with students displaying grief, loss, and/or trauma?
A light dinner will be served starting at 5:00PM.

Coffee will be available at 4:30 for you to unwind and network. A light dinner will be served at 5:00 with the session starting at 5:30.

TEAL Manitoba members - there is no charge for this event.

Non-members will be charged $10.00 at the session, to cover the cost of the food and supplies.
