Early high school years mark significant financial transitions as your kids become more independent, more capable, and legally able to work. They also mark the start of greater challenges as your kids are true teenagers. There’s a lot to learn and experience before they are ready to head off on their own. Your efforts to instill strong financial values can go a long way toward your broader parenting objectives, as you teach them how to make wise decisions in support of current enjoyment, future goals, and core family values.

Paige Brettle, Associate Financial Advisor of one of the largest Wealth Management Firms in Vancouver, shares her knowledge by taking us on a valuable, educational journey of "Five Weeks to Financial Literacy for Teens".

We will be covering 10 specific topics over the course of 5 weeks. These will be delivered in short, sensible, engaging and interactive sessions that address important key issues that our kids are facing from balancing needs, wants, and values as they encounter significant peer pressure, to managing greater financial decisions, such as annual clothing purchases, to learning to plan, save and budget from personal earnings and allowance to beginning the discussion about college and financial expectations.
