Let’s get started! Learn how to start your garden indoors and get a head start on the growing season. This will be a combination lecture & hands on style workshop where you will learn:
Holly Rooke is the farm manager at the North Shore Neighbourhood House's Loutet Farm and Sutherland Schoolyard Market Garden in North Vancouver. She's worked on farms and gardens across Canada and abroad, and fine-tuned her skills as an apprentice in Ladner, BC where she managed seedling production for a 12 acre organic farm. Holly is a do-it-yourself (DIY) enthusiast and believes that growing your own food is one of the most empowering and rewarding experiences.
