Event Description:

The healthcare environment is constantly chnaging, and provider organization are frequently asked to respond to legislative changes, quality/safety concerns and patient or staff demand in order to survive and thrive. The success of major change implemantation hinges on how it is communicated and how it impacts individuals and proccesses in the organization. This sessin will assist participants in understanding change leadership and change management. The presenter will share their experiences in leading change at Alberta Health Services and discuss approaches that were successful and those taht impeded the change process
