Suicide Awareness: Stories of Hope & Recovery
A FREE, PUBLIC talk on suicide awareness from a lens of hope & recovery. Learn about new research in suicide biomarkers & hear about a journey of hope and recovery.

Wednesday February 21, 2018, 7pm-9pm

Speakers:
Dr. Sakina Rizvi, CAN-BIND scientist, will present stories of hope from research on suicide, sharing the latest on biological and behavioural risk factors for suicide and treatment resistant depression in order to predict treatment outcomes.

Ethelrida Zabala Laxa, award winning toastmasters speaker will share her recovery story from despair to hope.
