FACTS AND REMINDERS:

Camp runs from 6-9 PM Monday through Thursday. You MUST come in with your camper to sign them in, as well as out at the end of the night. Once campers are signed in they will head into The Dock for our opening activities. At the end of the night, after signing out your camper, you will pick them up at the front desk. This is for all campers, including the older ones. Campers will receive a camp shirt on Monday. They may choose to wear it daily if they like. All campers should wear their shirt on Friday when we go to Wonderland. On Friday July 17, we will spend the day at Wonderland. Campers are to arrive by 8:30 AM, and we will plan to arrive back by 8:30 PM. At the end of the week make sure to check the lost and found!

WHAT TO BRING:

• Campers should dress prepared for the evening’s activity.

Monday- Weird Sports/Water Night- clothes that can get wet/bring a bathing suit (one pieces only please!) and towel.

Tuesday- Messy Night- clothes and shoes that can get messy/stained. Bring a change of clothes for later on.

Wednesday-Nerf Night- clothes that are easy to move in and running shoes.

Thursday- Harbour Challenge- clothes that are easy to move in and running shoes.

Friday-Wonderland Day Trip- comfortable clothes and good shoes for walking in (no flip flops!). Bring a swimsuit and towel if they would like to go to the Water Park.

• Please send your camper with sunscreen and bug spray on, in the morning. We will assume they are prepared to be in the sun. Please also send sunscreen and bug spray labeled with their name, which we will help them reapply as necessary.

• A big snack is provided each night. The menu for the week will be on the summer camp website in April. Please send, 1-2 bottles of water or juice with your camper daily (no pop).

• Please do not send any nut products, money, electronics (3DS, cell phones, iPods etc.)

WHAT GROUP WILL MY CAMPER BE IN?

Campers will be split into teams. Each will be lead by a Head Leader and have many other Group Leaders helping them. In the morning, the campers will meet in The Dock for worship and a large group session. After, the groups will rotate between stations: Games, Memory Verse and Small Group. The groups will be divided by age. The age ranges are flexible in order to allow for equally sized groups. Your camper will find out which group they have been placed in on the first day of camp. If your camper has a friend coming to camp whom is close to their age and would like to be placed in a group together (and you did not indicate this on the registration form) please let us know as soon as possible by emailing or calling the church office.

OUR LEADERS:

We are blessed to have many volunteer leaders from our church. We have many adults and teenagers helping out. All our leaders have gone through training. We would also like to encourage any parents who are interested to volunteer for the week, one or two days, or mornings to help prepare things ahead of time. WONDERLAND JULY 17:

On Friday July 17, we will spend the day at Wonderland. Campers are to arrive by 8:30 AM, and we will plan to arrive back by 9 PM.

Campers are asked to wear their camp t shirt to Wonderland.

We will travel by bus.

We will maintain a 1:5 leader ratio while in the park. All leaders will have a cell phone and will be required to regularly check in with the Director.

Kids will be encouraged to stay in their group of 5 for the day, making sure to choose friends in their group that will enjoy the same kinds of attractions (ie. water park, larger roller coasters).

Please pack a lunch for Wonderland and send kids with money if they would like to buy something while there (note: the camper will be responsible for carrying ALL their items including money).

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

Full refunds will be granted if requested 30 days before the first day of camp. Refunds requested after that time will be subject to a $50 administration fee.
