Event description

Description

Pruning in the summer in the summer? That's right! It can be done. Conventional wisdom holds that pruning is done in the late winter & early spring, but we are blessed to live in a climate where we can also prune in the summer without risking damage to our trees. Summer pruning provides many benefits, and is especially relevant for espaliered and dwarf trees. It's also a great excuse to get into your tree and get excited about the ripening fruit!

Join us as we welcome back Michael Cowan of Edibella Landscapes for an engaging workshop on the hows and whys of pruning your fruit trees & vines in the summer!

*Registration is required. If cost is a barrier please contact welland@lifecyclesproject.ca, there are a small number of free spots available.*
