“One of the greatest gifts is to be in a happy environment with so many others who have a disability but don't see one in others. It is incredibly difficult to make friendships for non-verbal people even when they like to hang out with others; they always need a facilitator to kind of guide the conversation...that's what camp is all about, connecting the missing dots”
