Join us on Friday, June 21, for an intimate evening with friends and family along the shores of Okanagan Lake celebrating excellence in the arts.

Tickets include a welcome cocktail by The BX Press, appetizers and three course dinner by Basket Case Picnics and Catering, and a selection of wines from Ex Nihilo Vineyards. Throughout the evening you will experience a variety of local artistic talent that will make for an event you will not want to miss.

Individual tickets are $125, or you can SAVE with a table of 6, at $105 per ticket!

Tickets are available on Eventbrite or in person at the Vernon Community Arts Centre, (2704a Hwy 6), or by calling the Arts Centre at 250-542-6243 (and save admin fees!)

This gala event will showcase a wearable art fashion show, live painting, acoustic music, a display of local art and a few more surprises that you will just have to experience for yourself. Feature artists and performers will be announced over the coming days and weeks so be sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages to catch all the exciting news!

Set along the picturesque lakefront of Paddlewheel Hall, the evening promises to be a one-of-a-kind event for Greater Vernon. "It’s a chance for members of the community to celebrate the cultural offerings of our area in a unique setting," says Amanda Shatzko, Chair of the ACNO Board. "The ACNO is very excited about this event, which we hope to host on an annual basis going forward."

Monies raised through this event will be used to create a legacy fund for the ACNO, which will be dedicated to promoting a vibrant arts and culture community in the North Okanagan. This fund allows the ACNO to build marketing strategies, advertise community events and programs, and expand the marketing reach of member groups. It will become a financial resource for local groups wishing to apply for money to host arts and culture activities and provide seed money to establish new arts and culture initiatives in our community. As the fund grows, it may also be the starting point for the ACNO sustainable endowment fund which will be housed at the Community Foundation of the North Okanagan.
