About this event
On November 27-28, 2019, the first-ever Summit on Canada’s Global Leadership will bring together policy leaders from all sub-sectors of Canada’s foreign policy. In the Fall 2019 post-election context this Summit provides an opportunity to understand where Canada stands at the nexus of international trade, security, diplomacy, development and humanitarian assistance and set the stage for building a comprehensive foreign policy for the future.
The Summit will serve as a jumping off point towards improving understanding of Canada’s global cooperation priorities.

Des intervenants des secteurs de la sécurité, du développement, de l’aide humanitaire et du commerce se réuniront pour examiner les possibilités d’harmoniser intérêts et efforts dans le but d’améliorer la compréhension des rapports entre secteurs.
Le Sommet servira de point de départ vers l’adoption d’approches plus intégrées des priorités du Canada en matière de coopération mondiale et vers une meilleure collaboration entre secteurs et avec le gouvernement du Canada.
