About this event
Move to Nature invites you to experience Guided, In-Person Nature & Forest Therapy Walks at Landon Bay in the Thousand Islands National Park.
We will wander the grounds and bathe in the forest’s atmosphere during a guided, 2hour nature & forest therapy walk. This is a slow, mindful, immersive experience to re-connect to ourselves and the natural world. You will leave feeling relaxed and revitalized. Feel free to stay back and wander or mingle with others in the community.

There are 9 spots available (to abide by provincial social distancing guidelines & to foster an intimate and calming experience). Note: these requirements are subject to change based on the circumstances of COVID-19.

What to Bring?
1. Wear and/or bring extra clothing layers for temperature control;
2. Optional: Bring something to sit or lay on that is not too heavy to carry along on the walk: a mini stool, a sitting pad, a blanket, a yoga mat, etc.
3. Optional: Bring cold and/or warm water, a nut free snack, etc. We will share a beverage at the end of the walk so you can prepare accordingly.
4. Optional: Bring a pack back to pack all your essentials: sunscreen, bug spray, toilet paper, plastic bag, etc.
5. Bring a mask and hand sanitizer and/or disinfectant wipes.
Washrooms are not available onsite - something to keep in mind.
This practice will occur rain or shine (unless there is a severe weather warning). We thank you in advance for your flexibility should we need to make last minute changes to the schedule due to weather. Let's hope Mother Nature is on our side!

This event is substance (drugs and alcohol) and smoke free.
All participants will be required to agree to the “Terms and Conditions of Attendance” when registering which include a Covid-19 Safety Protocol. Participants must be 18 years of age or older; if under 18, a parent or guardian will be required to sign the “Terms and Conditions of Attendance” form at the event. Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the class.
