About this event
Meditation Class - Finding Beauty in Ourselves and Others
Sunday 8 May, 2:30 - 4pm
online and onsite
with Kadampa Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Kunden
One of the main obstacles to developing pure love for others is we keep seeing faults. Because we focus on these faults, it is difficult to generate love. To make things worse, we then often focus on our own faults and become overly critical and discouraged. How can we view ourselves and others in a beneficial way that will bring meaning and happiness into our lives? How can we learn to love others without focusing on their faults? How can we learn to improve our own good qualities without becoming discouraged or developing false pride?
In this series of classes we will learn practical meditations to delight in and thereby increase our own qualities and good actions view others in the most beneficial way. Through changing our view from negative to positive we can find the beauty in ourselves and others and realize our full potential.
These classes are based on the books The Mirror of Dharma with Additions and The New Eight Steps to Happiness. Come and along and learn how to make your life deeply meaningful. Every welcome.
