About this event
Online and Onsite Meditation Class - Finding Our Supreme Good Heart
Sunday 26 June, 2:30- 4pm
online and onsite
with Kadampa Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Kunden
Everyone needs to have a good heart. All our happiness comes from our good heart and we grow, develop and maintain our good heart through meditation. This supreme good heart is the mind of enlightenment – a wish to become a pure being in order to bring benefit to all others. Through training in contemplations and meditations on wishing love and compassion – we will eventually come to develop the supreme good heart – bodhichitta. This makes our human life meaningful.
In this series of classes we will come to know our limitless potential for happiness and freedom. We will learn to increase our compassion and love for others, the foundation of our supreme good heart with practical and powerful meditations and contemplations.
These classes are based on the books The Mirror of Dharma with Additions and The New Eight Steps to Happiness. Come and along and learn how to make your life deeply meaningful. Every welcome.
You are also welcome to join us for this class on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
Classes are all standalone individual classes that are presented in a series. You do not need to attend the full series to drop into a class. These classes are suitable for all backgrounds and all experiences. Everyone welcome.
These classes are drop-in. There is no need to register to reserve your seat. Onsite attendees are welcome to pay at the door.
