Sunday School at PrettyUgly
Event Information
About this Event
"Part apothecary, part dark dive with Wu-Tang Clan smashing through the sound system, Grant van Gameren and Robin Goodfellow’s Parkdale bar isn’t preoccupied with the trappings of a serious cocktail spot—though with its extensive inventory of house-made ingredients and its lineup of gifted bartenders, it certainly qualifies."
PrettyUgly is one of the best bars in the city: a classic and sophisticated cocktail bar powered by some of Toronto's best bartenders.
TL Insider is thrilled to announce Sunday School at PrettyUgly, a series of monthly masterclasses and cocktail workshops designed to make craft bartending easy, led by Robin Goodfellow, Evelyn Chick and the rest of the amazing PrettyUgly crew.
“Whether you’re a beverage professional, hospitality agent, or passionate bar goer; this workshop can help educate you on the finer details of drink making. I will give a hands-on and in depth workshop of how to properly make the “parent drinks”. Knowing how to make these drinks will make it easy to recreate almost any drink you can think of. This is the same workshop I teach my new bartenders at any of my establishments, no matter how experienced they may be. We will sharpen your current skill, and raise your bar going aficionado level for your next trip to a cocktail bar. No more over paying for poorly made drinks for you!”
