Sunday Service: Lost in Translation
Event Information
About this Event
We are very excited to be continuing to meet together in our physical space. As excited as we are, we are also cautious. With much of the world having been nearly entirely shut downnot long ago, and much of our populations still at risk of contracting COVID-19, we want to take every percaution necessary to prevent the danger of spread of COVID-19 out of love for one another and for the sake of our neighours. Because of this, we are following the lead of our local health authroities and will be implimenting the guidlines that the government of Ontario has put forward for places of worship. We strongly encourage everyone to make yourself familiar with the guidlines published by the government of Onario which can be seen here; http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/pro/programs/publichealth/coronavirus/docs/advice_religious_services.pdf
Masks will not be required for this comming Sunday, however they are encouraged for the entering and exiting portions of the morning experience. Upon entering, single-file, one family at a time, you will be taken to a cluster of seats where you and your household will sit together, 2 meters apart from other households. The service will consist of a message from pastor Roy followed by a time of contemplative worship. This Sunday's service will not involve any singing. We will be worshipping together through other means this week and until it is no longer advised to refrain from indoor singing. Physcial distancing of no less than 2 meters will be respected for the duration of the Sunday experience.
