Sunday Worship
Event Information
About this Event
Hello Friends,
With current public health guidelines we're allowed to have two distinct groups within our sanctuary for Sunday worship
What can you expect when you return for worship?
• If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend. We hope to see you when you are better.
• We have limited seating available so you must register with the office to have your name on a contact tracing list.
• You will be assigned to one of two groups of fifty and these groups must be seated separately.
• You will indicate when you register, which door you want to use. Each group will enter and exit through separate doors and use separate washrooms.
• Anyone with mobility considerations must use the Kirkwood entrance.
• Unless you are part of the same household (or bubble), you must sit 2 metres or 6 feet away from the next person. These distances will be indicated on the pews.
• A greeter will meet you at the door and show you where you can sit.
• Hand sanitizer and masks will be available and masks should be worn when entering or exiting the building. Once you are seated, you can remove your mask, if you wish.
• The service text will be on the screens. Hymn books and Bibles have been removed from the pews.
• The offering plate will not be passed, but will be located at your entrance should you wish to leave a donation.
How will we worship?
• There will be no paper bulletins during the service. All text of readings, responsive prayers, etc. will be on the screens.
• Separate microphones will be used by the scripture reader, the soloist, the Family and Youth pastor, and the Minister.
• There will be no choir or congregational singing at the moment, music will be provided by soloist, instrumentalist, or recorded video.
• Each week’s message will be emailed after the service and if you need a paper copy, please contact the office. A copy of the announcements will be available after the service.
• The service will be video recorded and posted to YouTube each week for those who cannot attend or wish to see it again.
Like many communities of faith, the pandemic has required that we change some of the ways we have gathered, shared, and prayed. Still, the Spirit remains with us. God is always with us. I hope to see you soon,
Blessings,
Rev. Darin
Please note that by accepting a ticket you are agreeing
1) That you will abide by Covid 19 protocols and if showing any symptoms will not attend
2) Please know that our services are broadcast online as a mission for our folks at home who are unable to attend. For people who are camera shy, the balcony and the rear portion of the church are out of the view of the broadcast. Thanks for your support and understanding of this ministry.
