Organizer Rothesay

Organizer of Sunset Yoga at the Rothesay Common

Rothesay is truly a “community of communities” and a suburban retreat that has something for all ages. Our residents and visitors enjoy beautiful green spaces, beach sites, wharves, hiking trails and many playground areas for children. The commercial district offers boutique and brand name shopping, family restaurants and independently owned community businesses, including three micro-breweries (for the more adventurous!)

Rothesay is proud of its heritage (some structures pre-date Confederation) and modern amenities. The Rothesay Common was voted as the “2016” People’s Choice Public Space” in the Great Places in Canada contest and is an all-season facility – enjoy a stroll or shoot some hoops in the warmer months or take in a skate during the winter on the artificial ice surface. Visit the Renforth Rotary Park to take in one of the largest ice fishing villages in New Brunswick or stop by for a swim in the warmer months – early risers can sometimes catch the local rowing club practicing at sunrise. And the sunset views from East Riverside-Kingshurst Park are truly spectacular!

Rothesay is home to several family oriented events on the Rothesay Common including weekly Summer Concert Series, Canada Day Celebrations, KV Music Fest, Fundy Winterfest and our popular Glow in the Dark Skate.

Our motto “Quinque Iuncta in Uno” (Five United in One) represents the strength and unity of our Town and the five founding communities.

Come see what Rothesay has to offer!
