Join Banff Sunshine Village for a day in the mountains to celebrate movement and nature. Come and take it all in with Yoga at the top of the world at 8,000 ft, (2,400 m) right on the Continental Divide.
Yoga will begin on the Standish Viewing Deck at the top of the Standish Chairlift at 9:00 AM and will be led by Carole Angeles (RYT 200, RPYT). Carole has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and is experienced in teaching a variety of styles and class types including Hatha, Vinyasa, Meditation, and everything in between. She has taught every age group from babies to seniors. Classes will be suitable for all levels and abilities, regardless of experience.
Soak up the sunshine, post-class with a light brunch down in the Village and enjoy the rest of the day on the hiking trails at your leisure.
Yoga in the Meadows will be at the top of Standish Express on the Standish Viewing Deck at 9:00 am on:

How should I sign-up:
Sign up online for $60. Your registration includes your summer sightseeing ticket, 1-hour yoga class and post yoga light brunch.
Have a Sunshine 2019/20 Pass, Summer 2019 Season Pass or already have a Sunshine Sightseeing Ticket? Sign up for ONLY $30!
What do I need for the class?
- Please visit the Guest Service Desk at Bourgeau Base Area on arrival to claim your ticket and sign the activity waiver.
- We recommend you bring your yoga mat, warm socks, a water bottle, sun screen, and to dress in layers. The class will be taught outside.
Timing:
8:00 AM – Enjoy your ride up the Sightseeing Gondola to the Village and then up the Scenic Standish Chairlift to the viewing deck.
9:00 AM – Yoga class will begin at the top of the world on the viewing deck overlooking Sunshine Meadows and the 3 high alpine lakes.
10:00 AM - Head down the Standish Chair to mix and mingle with post-yoga brunch and refreshments in the Chimney Corner Resturant located in the Sunshine Mountain Lodge.
11:00 AM – Enjoy the rest of the day hiking the trails of Sunshine Meadows at your leisure.
