Activities will include: Shave Foam Art, decorating mini trees, hot chocolate, cookie decorating, making a gift for parents, and Pizza!

Program Overview:

Our "Super Siblings" program is a recreational opportunity for children and youth who have a sibling with autism. It is an opportunity for them to be 'in the spotlight' and enjoy a program tailored to them. It is also a chance for them to meet other kids in a similar situation. There is no education or official support piece in this program – no therapy or counselling, or even talking about autism. The person with autism does not attend this program (parents/grandparents have pointed out the added benefit of spending this time alone with their autistic child/grandchild). Consider it as respite for the siblings.

Individuals with any special need / diagnosis, including those who need assistance with toileting or personal care, are not eligible to attend.

Masks are strongly encouraged, and hand-washing is mandatory. Note: each parent/participant will need to fill out a health screening questionnaire upon arrival. (full COVID-related health & safety protocol available upon request)
