The supervisory level of management is a critical level in the success of an organization. This 2-day workshop is designed to provide practical guidance for modern supervisors to acquire organizational skills in order to effectively implement necessary changes in the work place.

This course is highly participative and delivered in a seminar format through short participative lectures followed by discussions organized around case studies, questionnaires and small group activities.


Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • ldentify their unique accountabilities and differentiate their role from others on the management team

  • Assure that the right work is being accomplished at the right level

  • Create an environment in which participation, empowerment and employee development are integrated into day-to-day operations

  • Develop an "operational" job description through clarification of supervisory duties

  • ldentify and implement critical payoff duties

  • Create and sustain a productive team environment with multiple generations

  • Obtain greater payoff from support functions and increase the utilization of current resources


Terry Kozlowski brings broad experience in a variety of client cultures where she led transformation and technology adoption projects to support the business and strategic decisions. During the decades, she has served as an Account Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, or Organizational Change Architect in more than 30 separate initiatives.

Her industry experience includes government, nonprofit and commercial settings including healthcare, financial services, information technology, food and beverage, professional services, oil and gas and manufacturing. She has made a major contribution to multiple ERP and other system implementations, strategic planning and information technology outsourcing projects.

She is a former Partner at CSC Consulting, (Computer Sciences Corporation) an internationally recognized technology consulting firm. At CSC as Global Leader of the Organizational Change Expert Group; she led a high matrixed virtual global team including representatives from Europe and Australia to design and document a new organizational change management framework methodology for all information technology projects across all CSC divisions.

She has also used additional business process improvement or enterprise transformation, change (including Prosci) and software development methodologies already adopted in client organizations.

A graduate of Northeastern Illinois University, she has been an instructor and guest speaker in continuing education and degree programs offered through Northwestern University, University of Georgia, National-Louis University, Institute for International Research and the American Management Association.

A skilled trainer and interactive workshop leader, her specialty is facilitating meetings of leaders with divergent and strong opinions to reach the stated objectives. She has obtained over 20 additional certifications in employee selection, leadership and employee development and executive coaching instruments and approaches.

She has appeared on NBC-TV and FoxNews nationally and been quoted or contributed to articles in print media including the Chicago Tribune and The Wall Street Journal on workplace success.
