Thank you for your interest in supporting Designing for Tomorrow! Below are a variety of sponsorship and advertising opportunities to fit a wide range of interests:

SPONSORSHIPS

  1. Gold $1750 - Two available, one for each day - general conference sponsorship

  2. Silver $1000 - Two remaining - keynote, lunch on Day 2 (Lanyards and lunch on Day 1 are taken)

  3. Bronze $250 - Six available - breakfast; a.m. or p.m. break (one for each, each day).

BURSARIES

  1. Travel Bursary $250 - Ten available - to assist students who are bringing research posters

ADVERTISING

  1. Silver and Bronze sponsors can add on a 1/4-page advertisement in the program for $250

  2. Standalone advertisement in the program without a sponsorship - 1/4 page for $500

EXHIBITORS

Purchase an 8' table space located around the perimeter of the conference room (inside the room) - $800. Fee includes one swappable registration. (Additional booth-minders please register as an attendee on the main registration page https://dft19.eventbrite.ca). It is not required to attend your booth except during the exhibitors reception, following the end of the first day of the conference until the banquet starts (4:45 to 6:30 p.m.) Cash bar, appies provided. Of course, there are good opportunities to chat with people during lunches and breaks, so we do encourage you to participate throughout the event if possible. Booths must be set up before the event begins (Tuesday night or Wednesday morning by 8:15) and not be removed before the afternoon break on Thursday.

FOR YOUR REFERENCE - CONFERENCE-at-a-GLANCE

We are pleased this year to offer a very full program in a single track over two days, featuring colleagues from Alberta, Minnesota, B.C. and Ontario. This year we are adding a poster hall, exhibitors reception, as well as our first-ever banquet. Last year's event attracted approximately 150-175 participants each day, and we anticipate a similar number this year.

Thursday, November 7

  • Products including pretreatment devices, high flow bioretention, and permeable paving
  • Resilient Landscaping featuring pollinator habitat, carbon sequestration, and low-input landscaping
  • Bioretention plant and media performance, design and maintenance lessons learned from Alberta installations
  • Green Infrastructure case studies from Alberta and Minnesota

A group rate is available until October 4 at the Carriage House Inn. Reference the Alberta Low Impact Development Partnership.
