Description

We live in a time where sustainability and conscious consumerism is more important than ever! Learn more about sustainable fashion and the impacts of the consumer industry at our sustainable fashion and clothing swap event. The event will include a discussion panel with pioneers of the sustainable consumer industry in Vancouver, a clothing swap, and complimentary snacks!

Speakers include Irina McKenzie from Vancouver Sustainable Fashion Design and founder of Fabcycle and Frameworq, Nicholas Chernen from Smoking Lily, and Selina Ho from Recloseted.

Do you have a closet full of fantastic clothes that you never wear? Bring along some of it to our clothing swap, where you will be able to exchange your items for others’ donations in an effort to promote sustainable consumerism!


Items to BRING:

- Quality clothing items

- Purses

- Hats

- Shoes

- Scarves

- Accessories


Items to AVOID:

- Worn out clothes

- Socks/underwear

- Clothes with stains, tears

- Jewelry


Clothing donations are essential for the success of the event, so be sure to bring them along. We look forward to seeing you there!


If you are able to volunteer to help organize, coordinate, and clean up please select the volunteer ticket and be ready to arrive at 10am. This event is entirley donation based, so any contribution is immensely appreciated!
