About this Event

What to expect: 

Stress is a normal part of life. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy to deal with! When too much stress builds up over time, it can affect our work, our personal lives, and even our health. Learning to deal with stress in a healthy way can improve our well-being, at work and at home.

In this workshop, we will explore what stress is and what it feels like. We’ll talk about good ways to reduce and recover from stress. You’ll have a chance to figure out some sources of stress in your life, and make a plan to deal with at least one of them.

The second half, we take newly acquired skills and apply them to everyday life. Exploring practical applications and working through real-life scenarios together. Language at work can be formal or casual. It can be friendly or businesslike. We may use different language at work than we do at home or with our friends.

Synergy is the name of the game. Engaging with friends and even strangers can transform feelings of isolation and loneliness into feelings of empowered confidence. 

Join us Wednesday mornings and connect with someone in the group who is a perfect fit to work on a project. Collaborative workshops provide a safe learning space where, together, we achieve more than we can alone. You will meet like-minded individuals that you will collaborate and brainstorm with. Together we share innovative ideas, everyday struggles, robust support systems, and creative solutions to challenges we all face in business.
