The Tri-Cities VolunteerFest attracts all sorts of people who are waiting to make a contribution to your organization. With only 25 tables, we will sell out fast, so SIGN UP TODAY!
Registrations received before October 3, 2016 are eligible for an EARLY BIRD DRAW!
What payment options are there?
You can pay by credit card or Paypal via the Eventbrite site. If you would like to pay by cheque, click the "other payment option" link and then "pay offline". Please make payment out to "Community Volunteer Connections" with "Tri-Cities VolunteerFest" in the note section. Mail your cheque to Community Volunteer Connections, #200 - 25 King Edward St., Coquitlam BC, V3K 4S8
Where's my invoice?
Please use your registration confirmation as your invoice.
Do I need my own insurance?
If your organization has insurance, participating in the Tri-Cities VolunteerFest is likely covered. We will be asking for a Certificate of Insurance, which is a form from your insurer that confirms you have your own insurance. Our insurer would like us to collect Certificates of Insurance from all organizations that have their own event insurance. If you do not have your own insurance, Community Volunteer Connections is able to extend our insurance to cover you for the day. You'll get full instructions on how to ask for and receive a Certificate of Insurance after you register.
Where do I park?
All-day parking is available on the Coquitlam Centre roof. Entry to the roof parking is at the north side of the mall behind T&T Supermarket.
Where do I sign in on event day/get my table number?
We assign tables on event day when you sign in. Please sign in at the Community Volunteer Connections table between 8:30 am and 9:00 am.
I'll have staff/volunteers helping out at my table. Do they have to sign in?
Yes! We will have a PRIZE DRAW for anyone who is helping out at the tables, staff or volunteer. Plus, everyone needs to sign off on "Table Safety" guideless to make my insurer happy. Please send your staff/volunteers to the Community Volunteer Connections table when they arrive.
Do I have to keep my table open all day?
Yes! Your table MUST be open by 9:30 am and STAY open until 6:00 pm, or else the Mall gets really mad at me.
What's the Passport to Volunteer & Grand Prize about?
Visitors to your table will have a Passport to Volunteering. After they collect 10 entires on their passport they can enter to win a $500 Coquitlam Centre shopping spree!
What can/can't I bring to the event?
YES: Neat, professional displays.
YES: Candies or small giveaways.
YES: Bring a stamp, stickers or a pen to sign off on Passports.
NO: Helium balloons.
NO: Items for sale. Selling event or raffle tickets is okay. Asking for donations is okay.
What is the refund policy?
If you are unable to use your table, we wil provide a refund up to 7 days before the event. Less than 7 days before event, we will provide a refund if we are able to sell your table to another organization. Please contact me directly to request a refund - Stacy Ashton, 604-529-5118.
